Primark and Penneys — what's the difference?
Primark and Penneys are the same brand, owned by the same company (AB Foods). In Ireland, the stores trade as Penneys. In the UK and most other markets, they trade as Primark. The product ranges are very similar, but UK Primark online prices are in sterling — and can be lower than the equivalent Penneys price in euros, particularly during UK sale events.
Irish customers sometimes find specific products online at UK Primark that haven't landed in Irish Penneys stores yet, or that are available for faster delivery online from the UK.
Why Primark online doesn't deliver to Ireland
