More Than a UK Address
A forwarding address gets your parcel to our depot. What happens next is where PostUK saves you money and hassle — we can prepay your duties so there's nothing to pay on arrival, strip out bulky packaging to cut your shipping cost, and photograph your parcel before it leaves the UK.
Duties paid — nothing to pay on arrival
The worst part of buying from abroad is the surprise: your parcel turns up and the courier demands VAT, duty and a handling fee before they'll hand it over. PostUK can take that away. Ask us to send your parcel duty paid (DDP) and we collect the estimated duties and VAT upfront, settle them with the courier, and deliver with nothing to pay on the doorstep.
It's the same all-in experience you get from Amazon or eBay's international checkout — one payment, no nasty surprises, no trip to a depot to pay a bill. You see the full landed cost before you commit, then your parcel simply arrives.
We remove bulky packaging to cut your cost
International shipping is usually priced on volumetric (dimensional) weight, not just how heavy your parcel is. A half-empty box of trainers or a bulky retailer carton can cost far more to ship than the items inside actually weigh.
On request, we remove oversized boxes and excess packaging and repack your items more compactly. A smaller parcel means a lower volumetric weight — and a lower forwarding price. Combine it with consolidation and the savings add up fast.
Parcel photos on request
Want to see your item before it ships? Just ask and we'll send a photo of your parcel at our depot. It's an easy way to confirm the right item arrived, check the condition of a second-hand buy from Vinted, or simply get peace of mind before you pay to forward it overseas.
Consolidation, included
Buying from several shops? We hold each parcel and combine them into one shipment, so you pay a single forwarding cost instead of one per order. Consolidation is included with your subscription — never a paid add-on. See how consolidation works.
